1. My Account

1.1 What is 'My Account'? How do I update my information?

 

My Account feature allows you to create your account on the Amba Foods website and store your personal details such as your address, phone number and email id. You need to provide this information to us to make online orders and track your online orders delivery status.


The personal data that you save or update would save your time in providing the information again for the repeated orders. You can change your password and update your account details anytime, if required.

 

1.2 Is it necessary to have an account to shop on Amba Foods?

 

No. You only need to have an account if you wish to save your information for repeated orders.

 

2. Order Status

2.1 How do I check the status of my orders?

 

You can track the status of your order under the Orders section. You will also receive sms and email notifications for the same.

 

2.2 How will I know if any item in my order is unavailable?

 

You will receive an SMS and/or email notification informing you about the unavailable items in this situation. Refund (if any) will also be initiated within 10 working days.

 

2.3 What do the different order status mean?

 

Processing: Order has been placed and not shipped.

Shipped: Order has been shipped from Amba Foods warehouse.

Complete: Order has been delivered.

 

3. Payments

3.1 How do I pay?

 

For online purchases, you can pay us in the following ways:

Credit cards, Debit cards and Net Banking.

 

3.2 How do I pay using a credit/debit card?

 

You can make direct payment via CC Avenue. This payment gateway accepts VISA, MasterCard, Debit Cards and Net Banking transactions from all major banks.

 

3.3 What steps does Amba Foods take to prevent card fraud?

 

We use secure payment gateways from trusted banks that use encryption technology. We do not store card details with us. See our Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale for more information.

 

3.4 Do you accept Cash on Delivery?

 

No, as of now we don’t have the option of cash on delivery

 

3.5 Do you charge any amount or taxes over and above the rates shown?

 

No. There are no hidden charges. You only need to pay the amount that is mentioned for a listed item and shipping as shown at checkout. The prices that you see for an item includes all taxes.

 

4. Shipping

4.1 What are the delivery charges?

 

Shipping Charges may vary on the weight of your order and your location. The applicable Shipping Charges are shown on the Checkout page before you proceed to Payments.

 

4.2 What is the estimated delivery time?

 

The estimated delivery time depends on the location of the delivery. Usually it takes 4-7 business days to deliver where standard courier service is available.

 

4.3 Amba Foods does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

 

We deliver our products throughout India. However, there may be certain areas where we do not deliver. Please check your shipping area to find out whether or not the products can be delivered to your area at Checkout stage.


4.4 Does Amba Foods deliver internationally?

 

No. Currently we deliver our products only in India.

 

4.5 When Can I change the delivery address of my order?

 

You can change your current shipping address and add different address on checkout page before proceeding for payments and placing order.

 

5. Returns and Replacements

5.1 Return policy

 

Since all products are consumable they are non-returnable in nature. However, in the unlikely event of damaged, defective or different/wrong item delivered to you, you must contact us within 5 working days from the delivery of the product. You must also return the product to us within 5 working days. We may ask you to send photos of the items and/or return the items. In that case either our courier will collect it from you or we may ask you to use a different courier. We will refund the cost of shipping.

You should return the items in the same condition and the same packaging as they were sent to you where possible.

NOTE: NO RETURNS BASED ON PERSONAL TASTE WILL BE ACCEPTED.

 

5.2 What items can I replace?

 

We regret that food and drink items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are damaged or defective or the wrong items have been sent to you by mistake.

 

5.3 I have requested a replacement, when will I get it?

 

As soon as we receive a replacement request, we send you an email of the replacement details. Usually replacements will be done within 7 – 10 working days. If you don’t receive the replaced item on the promised date then please contact us - care@ambafoods.co.in

 

6. Refunds

6.1 When are refunds provided?

 

We wish to provide you a pleasant shopping experience. We assure you that your money is safe with us. Your money will be refunded to you, in case you receive a damaged or defective item and the replacement of the item is not possible.

 

6.2 I've still not received the refund to my bank account. Why?

 

If you have received a confirmation of the refund email or message from us, please be assured that you will get your refund as soon as possible and we are following our payment partner for the same. In some cases, financial organizations take a longer time to process a refund. However, if you don’t receive the refund on the promised date, please contact us - care@ambafoods.co.in

 

7.  Cancellations

7.1 How do I cancel an order?

 

You can Cancel Order under ‘Orders’ segment only when products are not released for dispatch from Amba Foods warehouse.

 

7.2 How long will it take to process my cancellation request?

 

We normally take 1-2 business days to process a cancellation request and initiate the refund. However, the banks may take 7-10 working days to process the refund and transfer the money back to your account.

 

7.3 What are the modes of refund available after cancellation?

 

Your money will be refunded to the same payment mode which you had initiated while placing the order.
